A banking expert with over 38 years of experience in the financial services industry has joined north east contact centre, Respondez, as Non-Executive Director.
Les Stillwell will be joining the Board of Directors at the Hartlepool-based site and will act as an independent voice on the company’s important business decisions, focusing his time on further developing the business strategy for Respondez and heading up specific projects in the financial services sector.
With a career in retail banking and financial services spanning almost 40 years in well known institutions such as Visa, Citibank and Lloyds TSB, Les brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Previous roles include Managing Director of two UK banks, both of which Les built up from a start-up business to a staff in the first bank of over 750. During his senior level career, Les has been responsible for driving forward a number of schemes, including obtaining bank authorisations, secured and unsecured card programmes and he also held the position of Non-Executive Director for Visa UK and Provident Financial UK.
Although Les won’t be involved in the day-to-day running of the business, his experience of managing a company means he ideally positioned to offer objective advice and guidance for the outsourcing firm.
On his appointment, Les said; “I am delighted to be appointed to this role and will be taking an active part in driving the business as part of the team.
