REVEAL: Activating Design Innovation in your Business
A Business Breakfast seminar for strategic decision makers, who want to build design and bring innovation into their organisation.
This event will explain Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), the government funding programme which helps businesses to progress a strategic project by establishing continuous access to expertise from a partnering University.
Join us to find out how accessing Northumbria’s Design expertise through KTP, could mobilise existing ideas within your organisation, introduce new products, technologies and processes, or build a more innovative culture from the inside out.
You will hear about the breadth and the benefits of KTP programmes from two companies that have recently completed theirs. They will describe what they have achieved including:
- Better, more competitive products and services
- A positive, more innovative culture
- A real return on investment
GUEST SPEAKERS:
Chris Duffy, MD and CEO at specialist manufacturing company Fendor Ltd
Lilian Mains, Chair of Zodiac Training and recent winner of Women Into the Network’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.
Chris Duffy and Lilian Mains have first-hand experience of embedding Design into their organisations using KTP funding. As well as the improved products and services you might have expected, the two speakers will explain the positive impact that Design has had on the culture of their respective businesses and the strategic opportunities it has created.
