ABCurry Club
The hugely popular ABCurry Club event returns on Thursday 24th November 2011 at 5:30pm. Hosted by Mill Volvo, Scotswood Road, Newcastle upon Tyne and supported by Westgate Walk-in Centre and ABC partners. This is going to be our most exciting event yet, with a whole host of speakers, and extra special offers, be prepared for a truly amazing experience.
We will hear from Bill and Elliot Ward and the Mill Volvo team on their inspirational story of the road to success and how they have helped changed the perception of the Volvo Driver. More specifically the fantastic tax saving offers they have for ABC members and the launch of the sit and smile campaign working with Bentinck Furniture and The Cosmetic Dental Clinic.
The Charlie Bear Team will be launching the Charlie Bear for Cancer Care – Cutting Cancer Appeal, and Amair Mohammed and Marina Yaseen from Octopus Media will be showcasing their dynamic media services which have helped the Charlie Bear Charity, and hundreds of other businesses.
As we are all feeling the winter approach - Dr Dhariwal urgent care lead - will be on hand to share a key message “Help the NHS make the best use of its resources this winter”. He will be speaking about the Choose Well campaign – which helps the public understand which is the best NHS service to use.
ABC partners will be on hand, including Newcastle UXL, Spice FM, Bdaily, Astute Solutions UK (ASK), and many others to explain how they can help your business. All joined by members of the Asian and wider business community. This is a unique opportunity to engage with some of the most prominent people in the North East. We have Sir John Hall, Barry Rowland – Chief Executive of Newcastle City Council, Stephen Savage Director of Licensing and the Olympics 2012, Harvey Emms Director of Planning, John Lee – Chief Executive of Your Homes Newcastle, Nitin Shukla – ABC Chief Executive and Community Leader, and Ahmed Khan – McDonalds Owner all as confirmed attendees. This is an event not to be missed.
ABCurry Club is an informal yet informative social networking event, which is always oversubscribed. Previous Curry Clubs have heard from the likes of Hari Shukla ABC Patron, Roy Stanley Chair of BENE and Tanfield Group, Paul Callaghan Chair of ONE, Catherine McKinnell MP, Dave Anderson MP, Chi Onwurah MP, Councillors Nick Forbes and David Faulkner, Alastair MacColl – Chief Executive of Business and Enterprise Group, including prominent community and business leaders.
Solomons Group headed by Shaban Suleman, will be delighting you with a delicious Indian Curry. They will be serving authentic mouth-watering Punjabi food. Solomons are one of the oldest Indian operators in Newcastle, and have a long standing and loyal patronage of customers that are constantly and consistently wowed with the quality of dishes served, catering for all palates.
Tickets are priced at only £8 with a proportion going to Charlie Bear for Cancer Care Charity.
