Robert’s talk relates to homicide and medical negligence. Is the bar too high? : Manslaughter by Gross Negligence will examine when medical practitioners should and shouldn’t be held accountable and prosecuted for those who die whilst under medical care. In his lecture, Robert will also be dealing with a controversial topic - the double effect rule in mercy killings. This Eldon lecture will be of interest to lawyers, medical practitioners, students and academics.
The lecture will commence at 6pm and will be followed by a drinks reception. This event will be accredited for 1 hour CPD by the SRA and BSB.
