THE ROLE 

The position will see the successful applicant working within the Design Services Group which provides process design and layout support to our Clients’ customers. You will be involved in the generation and layout design of mask sets used in wafer fabrication and will also develop and maintain CAD software for the use in the design of Microwave Integrated Circuits. The role will require the candidate to liaise with other departments and both internal and external customers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

The ideal candidate will:

• Be motivated and ambitious with an eye for detail who wants to develop and add to their existing skills and knowledge
• Hold an MSc, MEng or PhD in Electronic / Electrical engineering, Physics or other relevant subject
• Have strong mathematical / analogue circuit analysis skills and experience of programming ideally in C++ / CAD
• Possess good communication and team working skills
• Industrial experience would be advantageous

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

• Salary negotiable depending upon experience
• Our Client’s experienced engineers will provide the successful candidate with the necessary training, guidance and support in order to fully meet the requirements of the role

HOURS OF WORK AND TYPE OF CONTRACT 

• Full time regular hours
• Permanent contract
