THE ROLE 

As part of its development program our client is constructing a pilot facility to demonstrate this new biopolymer technology and are looking to recruit a Process Engineer.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Process Engineer and Process Development Team to facilitate the translation of plant data into engineering design. The translation of data to a process simulator and validation of models for use in design packages will be core to this role.

Upon validation, the individual will be required to work with the Senior Process Engineer to develop fundamental design processes into packages that can be used to licence our technology and as EPC FEED documents. 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have a good Engineering degree and be working toward chartered status. Experience in a chemicals processing environment would be considered beneficial. Good IT skills in standard MS office packages with working knowledge of ASPEN or equivalent would also be an advantage.

The role will eventually require overseas activities and the ability to travel will be a necessity in the role.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
• 25 days holiday per year plus stats
