THE ROLE 

You will be first point of contact for new business enquiries from a range of customers and responsible for analysing received customer information, collating and formatting a response.

Duties include:

• Analysing customer information, feasibility studies, part and process evaluation
• Developing process vendor tooling costs
• Undertaking analysis of customer enquiries, summarise these requirements and disseminate the information within the company
• The production of parts lists for preparation of quotations with reference to new or modified products
• To identify and offer advice regarding relevant technical issues

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

To be considered for the role you will:

• Hold qualifications to a minimum of HND/HNC level in an engineering discipline
• A minimum of 4 to 5 years of demonstrable practical experience in an engineering role
• Have some knowledge of presswork and assembly
• Possess strong planning and organisational skills
• Must be computer literate, principally Excel, Word and Outlook and possess good literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience with project planning would be an advantage with ability to manage own time and workload to achieve deadlines
• The ability to liaise with people at all levels including Directors, members of the Management Team and customers
• The ability to speak French, Russian or Japanese would be advantageous although is not essential
