THE ROLE 

• Provide mechanical and technical support to all other departments to maximise output in a safe and efficient manner
• Assist in the development of ISO quality management .system, ensuring all systems are compliant and maintained to the highest standard
• To ensure and oversee all maintenance development, whilst organising, negotiating and reviewing all contracts
• Play a major role in plant safety and implement any measures needed to improve compliance
• Establish strong relationships, with all members of the team as well as all internal and external customers
• Conduct internal and external compliance requirements, conducting audits and communicating outcomes
• Assist in recruiting, training and motivating all staff ensuring compliance at all times

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum of HNC or Equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
• Work experience in a 24/7 process operations environment
• Experience of supervisory management including technical and personnel and change management
• Experience of working with steam and gas turbines
• Knowledge and application of SHE system
• Problem solving. Continuous improvement responsibilities
• Analytical capabilities: data collection & analysis; report writing & presentations
• Working to procedures & targets
• Demonstrates own initiative in organising workload & development
• Committed to completing development programme and progressing career
• Confident verbal & written communication
• Strong team player, committed to contributing to & working with other in own and cross-functional teams
• Confident self-starter. Works unsupervised. Uses own initiative. Progresses personal development

HOURS OF WORK AND TYPE OF CONTRACT 

• Monday to Friday day working. On occasion there may be requirements to work other hours including weekends and also work on call
