THE ROLE 

Working within the production facility and reporting directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will be part of a team responsible for the production of a wide variety of components from drawings utilising a range of equipment including manual / CNC turning, manual milling, slotting, vertical boring and grinding (surface, universal).    

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

• To be considered for the role you will have:
• An understanding of a wide range of industrial pumps and rotating equipment
• A comprehensive skill set surrounding the production of machine engineered parts
• Proven experience within a Manufacturing environment in the use of manual milling, slotting, vertical boring, grinding and associated machinery
• Be a time served Engineer / Machinist / Toolmaker with a background in the rotating equipment industry and experience of working with alloys and exotic steels
• Work within guidelines and standards as set by the company
• A good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• Good problem solving and fault diagnosis skills
• Good communication skills
• Be conscientious with a good work ethic working toward pre-determined time-scales
• Please note, CNC experience is beneficial but not essential
