Technical Sales Executive / North East / Plastics and packaging industry / £33,000-£42,000 per annum plus company benefits. 

I’m currently looking to recruit a Technical Sales Executive for a market leading client. 

You will be responsible for generating new business in a variety of markets within our manufacturing capability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of Sales or Business Development with injection moulded products, plastics and packaging as well as excellent market knowledge. 

The main duties will comprise developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and developing new accounts through leads or prospecting new customers. 

This is a fast paced environment and it is essential that you can hit the ground running. All applications for this role must list proven experience and key sales figures in relation to their overall Sales achievements, and reasons why they believe they are best suited to this role. 

Personal Requirements 

You must be a self starter capable of developing new business opportunities through prospecting new customers using a range of personal attributes which include: 

A track record of sales of injection moulded components, packaging or plastics. 
Good knowledge of the European injection moulding markets 
Good knowledge of injection mould manufacturing 
Ability to handle the entire spectrum of the sales cycle including account management, costing, pricing, new business development, quality and service, negotiation and resolution of issues 
Ability to demonstrate confidence and a high level of interpersonal and communication skills 
Ability to work autonomously and within the greater business team 
Numerate and with good analytical and PC skills 
Excellent time management/ territory management skills 
Willingness to travel.
