THE ROLE 

Within the role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the equipment in the plant, optimising its efficiency and continuously improving its performance.

The role also includes responding to equipment failures, carrying out necessary repairs and implementing failure countermeasures. You will also be required to carry out routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

To be considered for the role you will:

• A comprehensive skill set surrounding the maintenance of automated machinery
• First class practical problem solving and fault diagnosis skills
• Proven experience within a Manufacturing environment in both Mechanical and Electrical engineering disciplines
• Mechanics and pneumatics automated welding systems (MIG)
• Robot fault finding and programming (Fanuc)
• PLC controlled equipment
• Experience of PPM and reactive breakdown response
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Numeracy skills
• Ability to work to set deadlines and work under pressure
• Be conscientious with a good work ethic

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

• Up to £25,000 per annum for the right candidate

HOURS OF WORK AND TYPE OF CONTRACT 

• Permanent contract 
• Average 39 hours per week (hours TBC)
