THE ROLE 

The QA Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the quality, health and safety and environmental management systems for the Client’s personnel, their products and services to the customer.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

To be considered for the role you will:

• Have an overall good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and the management of such systems
• Have good auditing skills within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Arrange 3.1 and 3.2 inspections to meet customers requirements as well as visiting new and existing suppliers to undertake quality audits
• Arrange periodic and re-certification audits with external authorities
• Supply periodic scrap and re-work analysis reports
• Demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role in a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Have good communication and team working skills
• Be conscientious with a good work ethic working toward pre-determined time-scales

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

• Salary range – £30,000 - £32,000 for the right candidate
• 25 days holiday allowance (rising to 30 days with service) plus statutory holidays

HOURS OF WORK AND TYPE CONTRACT 

• Permanent contract
• 37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 0830 to 1700, Friday 0800 to 1515
