A regional enterprise agency, the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) Ltd offers a range of property and business services from its headquarters in Sunderland.   Working with a broad range of clients from aspiring entrepreneurs to public sector bodies, the BIC is dedicated to supporting an innovative culture in the region.  

With a reputation for excellence, an exciting opportunity for an established marketer has arisen within the corporate marketing team.  Reporting to the Head of Communications, the successful candidate will have a good level of experience and knowledge having worked within online marketing.  

A high level of knowledge of web development software including content management systems, graphic design packages, business and office software is required.  Excellent copy writing skills and a marketing qualification or equivalent are also essential.  

A diverse and fulfilling role, you will be responsible for coordinating the BIC’s online marketing including: 

• managing the BIC websites ensuring details are optimised, relevant and informative
• overseeing the BIC’s social media activity
• compiling and distributing e-newsletters
• copywriting
• supporting funded project initiatives
• collating and analysing monthly SEO reports
• designing online advertising, newsletters and e-shots
