Leeds’ Grontmij shortlisted for Building Services Consultancy of the Year

The Leeds-based engineering consultancy Grontmij has been announced as a finalist in CIBSE’s prestigious Building Services Consultancy of the Year Award for 2014.

The award will be presented to the consultancy that demonstrates an outstanding contribution to the design or refurbishment of buildings to fulfill client expectations of performance, comfort and energy performance.

They was also able to evidence the successful provision of a range of energy management measures for Five Pancras Square, which resulted in the project being awarded first place in the ‘Other buildings’ category for the BREEAM Awards earlier this year.

Geoffrey Palmer, Grontmij’s director of energy, planning and design said: “We are delighted to be in the shortlist for these awards which recognise the best in class for design, energy performance, technical innovation and excellence in client service delivery, which reinforce our value beyond engineering approach.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 11 February at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
