Heritage Great Britain’s RLB360 today has been shortlisted for BALPPA Excellence Award

Heritage Great Britain, operator of the RLB360 visitor attraction, located within the Royal Liver Building, has been shortlisted as a finalist for a National BALPPA (British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions) Excellence Award. Heritage Great Britain has been shortlisted for the national Family Visitor of the Year and Best Small Attraction category for the RLB360 tour which opened last year. BALPPA celebrates excellence within the leisure industry throughout Britain. The nomination follows RLB360 being shortlisted for three gongs at Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards. The tourist attraction, which offers public tours of the world-famous Royal Liver Building, opened last April and has so far attracted over 30,000 visitors.
Heritage Great Britain Director, Peter Johnson-Treherne, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be nominated for a prestigious BALPPA Excellence Award. We created RLB360 with the intention of giving a new lease of life to one of the world’s most recognisable buildings. The fantastic RLB360 team have worked incredibly hard to provide a unique insight into the building and visitors are genuinely impressed to hear all about its history and heritage. We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted just a week after being nominated for three Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.”
