North East network security firm locks in Newcastle United partnership

A North East network security company has announced that it has signed a multi-year partnership deal with a Premier League club.

Keeping Business Running (KBR), has joined Newcastle United’s Executive Club programme, becoming a partner.

As well as providing WiFi and broadband services, networked CCTV and surveillance solutions, KBR provides custom network security tools.

The partnership agreement, facilitated by Eleven Sports Media, will allow KBR to deliver its message using the in-stadium digital platform and social media channels.

Gareth Tomlin, KBR’s managing director, commented: “Most businesses understand that it is vital to insure themselves against indemnity and liability as well as physical damage to their assets.

“Nowhere near enough businesses appreciate the potential vulnerabilities in their IT infrastructure, leaving them open to attacks from hackers and ransomware.

“By partnering with Newcastle United and Eleven Sports Media, we hope to reach out to the huge fan-base, and educate those in business about the costly risks of failing to secure their networks.

“The North East has such a lot of exciting and fast-growing companies and we want to share our expertise to help them continue to expand.”
