Award-winning SEO Company Quirky Digital Hires New Head of SEO
Liverpool’s award-winning Quirky Digital has welcomed a new Head of SEO to strengthen its senior team.
Founded by Liam Quirk, 26, Quirky Digital specialises in providing Digital PR, Content Creation and Technical SEO across various industries including healthcare, professional services, SAAS, investment, real estate, addiction and eCommerce.
After launching the business in May 2020 during COVID, Liam, from New Brighton, has enjoyed exponential growth, now boasting over 50 clients with a growing team of 14 that work from their Liverpool based office.
To support Quirky Digital’s continued growth, Liam has recruited a new Head of SEO; Rachel Walton, who has excelled in previous roles including Head of SEO at Castle International and Senior Organic Performance Manager at Manchester’s Wavemaker.
Rachel, 26, was headhunted by Liam after establishing herself as one of the leading SEOs in Liverpool, working alongside other members of Quirky Digital’s SEO team in other roles.
She has a wealth of experience working with local, national and international clients and her role will include key responsibilities such as leading organic SEO projects from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical SEO and on-page optimisation as well as working alongside directors to manage, train and grow the SEO team.
Liam Quirk explained: “Rachel is a significant hire to help us accelerate our organic SEO offering and take our internal processes to the next level. She has a wealth of experience working with local, national and international clients and this has already started to demonstrate this as we are continuing to show growth.
“Additionally, she shares our vision of wanting to build an SEO agency in Liverpool that can compete with the known agencies across other cities in the UK. I'm excited to have Rachel join the team and to see the impact she has on both our clients and colleagues.”
Rachel added: “I'm excited to become part of a team brimming with enthusiasm to establish a new standard for SEO agencies in Liverpool. The team is motivated, receptive, and talented - so I have no doubts that we will achieve that.
“I look forward to contributing to our agency's remarkable growth and expanding the limited senior-level SEO opportunities available locally. For too long, many talented SEO professionals in our city have had to seek opportunities further afield, and I'm excited to be part of changing that narrative.”
