Jurit appoints family law partner
London law firm Jurit LLP has appointed Christian Abletshauser as partner to lead its family law practice, strengthening its growing private wealth and tax offering.
Christian brings more than 20 years’ experience advising individuals, families and business owners on complex family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, children’s arrangements, nuptial agreements and cohabitation.
His expertise also extends to cases involving international considerations, supporting clients with complex financial and family circumstances.
In his new role, Christian will lead Jurit’s London-based family law practice, expanding the firm’s specialist advice to individuals and families.
He said: “Jurit’s collaborative culture, senior expertise and entrepreneurial model were a strong fit for me. Complex family matters increasingly overlap with tax, trusts, succession and business interests, and Jurit’s model allows us to work seamlessly across those issues.
“I look forward to contributing to Jurit’s growth alongside excellent, supportive and genuinely like-minded lawyers, in a firm where clients come first and commercial success follows from putting their interests at the heart of what we do.”
Christian’s appointment represents further investment in Jurit’s private wealth and tax practice, which was recently recognised in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide.
Robert Marcus, founder at Jurit, added: “Christian brings deep experience, sound judgement and a pragmatic, client-focused approach.
“Family law is a natural extension of our private wealth practice, and we are delighted to have him leading it.”
Jo Summers, head of private wealth and tax at Jurit, added: “Christian’s appointment significantly strengthens our private client offering, bringing senior family law expertise alongside our existing private wealth and tax capability.”
