Introducing the newest member of the Bdaily team

by Clare Burnett

This has been my first week as the Bdaily’s new Yorkshire editor, although I’ve been up in Newcastle with the Geordies for my initiation. We’ve had a growing presence in God’s Own County for a while now but I hope, in my new job, to get the stories and successes of Yorkshire’s businesses delivered on a modern platform, already big in the North East.

Although I went to Trinity College in Dublin, I’m a native of Yorkshire, bred in the Ripon and Harrogate area and will be based in Leeds (if I ever manage to find a house closer to the centre than Morley) so I’ll be right in the heart of West Yorkshire. The ongoing North/West rivalries aside, I want to get the message out across the whole of Yorkshire about Bdaily and encourage the burgeoning business community to connect and share, and keep them informed about their region in terms of growth, economy and investment in their sectors.

As the newest member of Bdaily and Ground Six I have a lot to live up to, but I look forward to working with everyone here and do this great team justice in my new role. I definitely have my work cut out for me.

If you want to get in touch to let me know what’s going on with your business or area, email me at, or give me a bell on 07850630791.
