To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often

When Winston Churchill uttered this famous quote, he was almost certainly referring to the developmental changes that we’ve been making to Bdaily over the last week.
After achieving our best ever month in April, with our readership increasing by 122% and sales growing by 50% since March, we’re reaching more and more people every day and as a result, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve the user experience for our ever-growing userbase.
One of our main priorities has been to improve the self-publishing platform. Users who regularly share their member news, opinion and advice with us will be aware of the difficulties of uploading images. We’re in the process of completely transforming the image upload feature, to save you (and our editorial team) time when using the publishing platform.
In order to ensure Bdaily users are able to navigate the site with the greatest of ease, we are also adding a FAQ section to help with any queries you may have about self-publishing, advertising and our email bulletin. However, if you still have a question, you can talk directly to a member of our team using the chat box in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
We’ve also made a few aesthetic changes, such as the list of tick box tags on the “Publish an Article” page and the alteration of font colour for the Bdaily team and member writers, so you know exactly where the news is coming from.
I’m coming to the end of my first month as Content Manager here at Bdaily and I can honestly say I have been taken aback by the efforts and achievements made by our tiny team on a daily basis - from ever-increasing sales stats, to record page views and a strong social media presence - the Bdaily team certainly are on the front line of innovation for business journalism.
As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day (or a week) - neither will be the new and improved Bdaily interface. However, we’re giving it a good crack!
