The Leeds office of national property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has secured the letting of an industrial unit at Pontefract Lane in Leeds for drinks distributor LWC Drinks.
Acting for landlord, In-site Property Solutions, LSH agreed terms for a ten-year lease of the property with LWC Drinks. The beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and associated sundries business will use the space as a distribution hub to help it better serve customers across Yorkshire and the North East.
Robert Whatmuff, director and head of Northern Industrial and Logistics Agency at LSH, said: “Industrial units of this size in such a great location are few and far between and the speed of the deal is testament to the appetite for stock of this type in the region. It was great to work with a landlord that was committed to securing a tenant, carrying out major works to the site and offering flexibility within the lease.”
The unit comprises 22,332 sq ft with frontage to East Leeds Link Road, offering excellent access to the M1 and just one mile from Leeds city centre. The deal took just three months to complete.
