A York-based construction company is celebrating a bumper order book this year on the back of high-profile jobs at Deans Garden Centre and the former BHS building on Coney Street.
Evora Construction Limited, which is celebrating its eighth birthday this year, has a £10m order book lined up for 2017 so far, coming off the back of a year which saw it construct over 30 apartments across the UK and the delivered 18 one and two bedroom apartments at the Aviator Court development in Clifton Moor.
The York business is also current developing new coffee shop facilities at Deans Garden Centre and redeveloping the former BHS site in York city centre to bring improved retail facilities to the iconic street.
Growth has been underlined by expansion at its head office too, with the strengthening of its administration team and the recent appointment of Richard Smith as Small Works & After Care Manager to support clients post-build.
Following a successful 2016, Evora Construction Director Richard Elam said: "We are delighted to be celebrating our 8th birthday and to be undertaking work on a number of great projects for new and returning clients, many of whom we have worked for since we formed the business."
