bgroup develops a Monster of an idea

North East creative agency bgroup has created a new campaign to celebrate National Enterprise Week 2008 and the launch of the first ever Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The ‘Monsterpreneurs’ campaign builds on the popularity of their previous ‘Anatomy of an Entrepreneur’ campaign, www.anatomyofanentrepreneur.com, to develop a humorous new approach to recognising the special qualities of an entrepreneur.

The campaign is supported through the monsterpreneurs.thebgroup.co.uk website, where visitors can apply to receive a monster poster and play a special new viral game to test your knowledge of enterprise vocabulary.

Diane Gates, Creative Director of bgroup, said: “The ‘Monsterpreneurs’ campaign is an idea which highlights the many different qualities a modern entrepreneur displays to make it in business. Utilising our design and digital expertise, each of the ‘monsterpreneurs’ gives a lighthearted visual representation of personality traits, such as determination, leftfield thinking, and ability to be open to risk, which help separate the entrepreneurs from the rest of the crowd.

bgroup has been involved in Enterprise Week since it first began in 2004, working with national campaigns such as Make Your Mark and regional campaigns such as No Limits in the Pennines.

Diane said: “With ‘Monsterpreneurs’, we wanted to create a different kind of marketing campaign to help showcase not just our understanding of enterprise communications, but to celebrate entrepreneurship in a creative way during an important week in the enterprise calendar. After such a long association with National Enterprise Week we are pleased to witness the first ever Global Entrepreneurship Week take shape this year and look forward to continuing our involvement in the world of enterprise and entrepreneurship.”

Go to monsterpreneurs.thebgroup.co.uk to sign up to receive a free ‘Monsterpreneurs’ poster and play the online game to establish just how well you know your enterprising vocabulary.
