Aspire awarded Quality Management Standard
Aspire Technology Solutions is celebrating after being awarded the internationally-recognised ISO 9001 Quality Management certification.
Gateshead-based Aspire has successfully achieved the rare distinction which is only awarded to companies that can meet stringent regulations for quality management systems. The BS EN ISO 9001 certification recognises those organisations that demonstrate highly effective business processes, commitment to continuous quality improvement and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Of Aspire’s achievement, Bill Robson, Operations Manager said: “The ISO certification is not just a badge or a tick in a box, it’s an internationally recognised business management tool that many companies now require as part of their supply chain management initiatives.
“As a business, we have successfully developed and implemented a documented quality management system to meet the ISO 9001 guidelines. This in turn helps us to carry out all projects in a structured and consistent manner, manage resources effectively and provide a basis from which to continuously improve our quality.
“This certification is testament to our commitment to delivering the highest levels of service to our customers and it goes without saying that we are delighted to have been awarded it.”
Simon Alexander, from QA International in Darlington, added: “The ISO 9001 certification is a sign that Aspire takes its commitment to its customers very seriously. To be awarded this certificate, an organisation must demonstrate its customer focus and commitment to monitoring and continually improving its performance, which Aspire has successfully done.”
Headquartered in Gateshead and with sites in South Tyneside and Central London, Aspire is an award-winning technology solutions provider with a 30-strong workforce and turnover nearing £3m.
