Parking brands hurry to add products at Southend

As Southend Airport unveils its brand new multi-million pound passenger terminal, so many of the leading UK airport parking retailers rush to add Southend Airport parking products to their portfolios.

And with the small Essex airport being hotly tipped to be the solution to capacity problems at Heathrow and other London airports, it’s easy to see why people are suddenly keen to sit up and take notice.

The £100m makeover which was completed earlier this month by new owners Stobart Group clearly demonstrates their commitment to transforming the airport.

With additional capacity for medium-sized jets provided by the new terminal and extended runway, it’s thought likely that the airport will quickly add to its list of carriers which currently includes easyJet and Aer Arann.

Among the first wave of airport parking vendors to source and add parking at Southend Airport has been Looking4Parking.com.

According to Looking4Parking’s Product Manager, Philip Green, they hope the take-up of the new service to be strong.

“In recognition of Southend Airport’s growing significance to UK travellers, we’ve been busy sourcing quality Southend Airport parking products to offer our customers.”

“The first of our new Southend Airport parking products have now gone live and are with Southend SACP who are providing both Meet and Greet and Park and Ride services at the airport.”

“Both products offer excellent value for money and peace of mind thanks to SACP’s focus on professionalism and security. As the airport grows quickly in popularity, we’ll be here to provide good quality parking.”
