Mixing Business with Pleasure
We all know mixing business and pleasure is the ultimate ‘no no’. However, Instagram is the new devilish creative pleasure you can now indulge in 24/7 in the name of good marketing.
Big brands have cottoned on to the new photographic craze which allows amateur photographers to take creative snaps and share with the world. It’s documenting your life in pictures, and that’s exactly what brands such as Red Bull, Puma, Sharpie, Burberry and even Playboy (yes Playboy) have done to further engage their followers and show them a personal behind the scenes side to their company.
Many brands have taken advantage of the most influential Instagram users (i.e those with a following of 100k+) and jetted them off to Abu Dhabi to shoot sailing races, given consumers behind-the-scenes looks at fashion shows or sporting events, organized “Insta-walks.”
Of course DDCA being the creative geniuses we are, have been happy snapping all over Social HQ, all for your viewing pleasure.
