Think of England
I read with interest Michael Kenny’s recent article on Englishness, and a purported resurgence of English identity.
In his article, Kenny suggests that such a resurgence is born out of current “loud” questions around the EU, Scottish independence, and the forthcoming McKay commission on the implications fo devolution for the Westminster parliament.
This will depend on sector, but do you think ‘Englishness’ informs business identity? Perhaps the need to appeal to different international markets dictates this?
