Insolvency specialist Daniel Richardson has been promoted to the position of partner at Manchester accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young.
Richardson has risen through the ranks of the firm, having first joined from college 14 years ago, and will step up from his present role of director on June 1.
A licensed insolvency practitioner and registered property receiver, Richardson specialises in business recovery and formal insolvency procedures, as well as advising banks and building societies on distressed property matters.
The 32-year-old becomes the 11th partner at UHY Hacker Young Manchester, which is part of the global UHY network and has its offices at St James’ Building on Oxford Street.
Mike Wasinski, managing partner, said: “Daniel has developed his career at UHY Hacker Young Manchester and has worked extremely hard to establish himself as one of the region’s leading insolvency experts.
“He has been an asset to the business and our clients, including some of the UK’s largest organisations, from day one and we are confident he will have a major role to play as we continue to move forward.”
Richardson said: “Working at such a respected firm and being part of a global network from the outset of my career has been an incredible experience for me and has opened up countless opportunities for my professional development.
“I am delighted to now be joining the partnership and I’m looking forward to lending my support as the business strives to expand its market footprint.”
