Analox thanks Financial Director for 20 years' service

The Financial Director of a North Yorkshire technology company is celebrating 20 years with the business.

Ian Batchelor joined Analox Ltd in 1993 as Financial Manager, and was promoted to Financial Director in 2000.

Ian, who was brought up in Darlington, began his career in banking before moving into corporate accounts. He gained his accounts experience working for Nacro, the national crime reduction charity, and Pipeline Engineering & Supply Co Ltd before joining Analox. As Financial Director of the 50 strong company, Ian has responsibility for all financial elements of the business as well as Quality, Health and Safety, ICT and Human Resources.

Ian commented: “I’ve enjoyed 20 years with a company that has grown ambitiously, worked with clients and distributors around the world, and continues to develop new products for a range of markets, including the military, commercial and sport diving and hospitality. Analox aims to be continuously innovative in all areas of the business, and we have been delighted to win a national award recently for our Health and Safety, and also to be nominated for our Customer Service strategy.”

Mark Lewis, managing director of Analox Ltd, added: “We’d like to thank Ian for his 20 years’ commitment to the company, and the important part he has played and continues to play in making this a great company to work for.”

Ian lives in Melsonby, North Yorkshire, with his wife and four children.

Analox Ltd is based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, UK, and specialises in the design and manufacture of gas analysers for military and commercial use.
