British Dental Association signs three year deal with Joe Manby

The British Dental Association (BDA) has renewed its contract with Joe Manby of Harrogate to supply event services for a further three years.

Starting with BDA’s next annual conference, in April 2014, the company will continue to provide services including stand design and installation, electrics, furniture hire, carpeting and graphics. Joe Manby firm has been working with the BDA since 1988

The Association is the professional association and trade union for dentists in the UK with more than 18,000 qualified members.

Elise Cole, British Dental Association’s head of events, said: “The Joe Manby team has been our event services supplier of choice for the past 25 years and we’re delighted that we’re able to continue this relationship for the next three years.”

Andrew Manby, director at Joe Manby, said: “The British Dental Conference and Exhibition is one of the highlights of our calendar. We’ve worked with the Association for a long time so completely understand how to create the best event possible to suit its needs.

“We look forward to continuing this relationship for many more years to come.”

The company fitted more than 5,000 sq m of carpet and over 1,000 sq m of exhibition shell scheme at the 2013 Conference, in April, at London ExCel.

Joe Manby is one of the UK’s largest independent, family owned events industry service suppliers. Established by Joe Manby in 1974, it offers a comprehensive range of event services to organisers and exhibitors at all major venues in the UK, with a current portfolio of 75 events and a worldwide customer base.

The 2014 British Dental Conference and Exhibition will be held at Manchester Central Convention Complex between Thursday 10 and Saturday 12 April 2014. The convention attracts around 5,500 attendees each year.
