Newcastle management consultants land Abu Dhabi contract

A Newcastle management consultancy business has secured a lucrative contract with the Abu Dhabi Government.

Blue Box Management Consultancy Ltd have been appointed by Mubadala Development Company PJSC, a wholly owned investment vehicle of the Government of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

The firm say the contract could result in further expansion, and job opportunities for North Easterners.

Mubadala (which is the Arabic word for ‘exchange’) was established in 2002 to work as the principal agent in creating globally integrated industry sectors to support the diversification of the UAE.

Managing Director Graham Walton, said: “We are delighted to be part of the growing relationship between the UAE and the North-East of England. For several years we have been helping companies to translate their business strategies into achievable goals.

“Business is tough and everybody wants to stand out from the crowd, Blue Box Management Consultancy has worked hard to understand the tried and trusted secrets to high-performing models. This exciting opportunity means we can expand both our understanding and our global reach.”

Graham and fellow director, Sylvia Dickinson, will fly out to the Emirates later this month to begin the project to create a strategy for Customer Service Improvement, which will involve 700 staff in one government division.

Sylvia added: “Of course we believe that the daily Emirates flights from Newcastle helped in securing the contract and I am very excited at the prospect of working on this new project.

“I also hope we will have the opportunity to expand and develop contacts in the UAE to bring back to the North-East to strengthen business relationships.”
