Lakeland gets One to help sell kitchenware
Lakeland, the Windermere-based kitchenware retailer, has appointed Manchester integrated creative agency One Marketing Communications to front its latest television advertising campaign.
Televised output has already aired across selected ITV regions and will focus on the key Autumn advertising period.
Paul Lowings, marketing manager at Lakeland said: “One Marketing Communications has demonstrated a solid understanding of our business and we are delighted with the finished advert.
“The idea behind the commercial is to drive Lakeland’s overarching brand identity and demonstrate how people can create those special moments with a little help from Lakeland.”
Wayne Silver, deputy managing director at One commented: “This is the first high-profile project which we’ve done for Lakeland and a fantastic brand to add to our growing portfolio.
“With baking being the hot topic of the moment, especially after the huge success of the Great British Bake Off, there has never been a better time to exploit the power of TV to raise awareness of Lakeland to both new and existing customers.”
The television campaign signals a renewed focus from Lakeland on traditional media after Retail Week reported a “sophisticated and sustained cyber-attack” on the retailer’s website in July.
