Sales Nugget – Questions
Asking questions is the only way to learn and understand something. The questions we ask are so important.
At a sales session last week it was agreed amongst the group that asking questions gets answers however after a lengthy discussion with a few examples thrown in it was agreed that great questions get brilliant answers. Answers that help us understand exactly what our customers want and they can uncover opportunities that we didn’t know existed
It was also agreed that although we know asking great questions is important we don’t ask them at the right time and sometimes we don’t even ask them at all. The thing is when salespeople don’t ask enough questions, it means they’re talking too much.
So the next time you feel that you need to talk about you, your company or your product don’t ask a question instead and see what you get back
As a bonus for the readers of the Sales Nugget we have a PDF with ’7 Motivational Tips to Survive in Sales’. All you need to do to get it is email us at sales@arrowsales.co.uk and we will send you the PDF.
