Buyers interested as Newcastle’s Complete Football fall into administration
Newcastle providers of football pitches, coaching and tournaments, Complete Football, have entered administration - and a sale is likely in coming weeks.
The Gosforth Park-based business employs 23 staff and provide 5, 7, 9 & 11-a-side pitches at their £3 million facility.
Allan Kelly and Matt Higgins of regional accountancy firm Tait Walker’s Turnaround & Insolvency division were appointed joint administrators last on January 27 and remained optimistic about the firm’s future.
Allan Kelly said: “The site is well invested and has a well-established name and reputation.
“It is currently operating as normal under our supervision. I would like to thank the staff, customers and suppliers for the very positive support received since our appointment.
“Interest in the site from potential purchasers is high and we are in discussions with a number of parties regarding a sale. I am hopeful that this will be concluded within the coming weeks.”
