Leeds-based Physio Med launches the Physio Med Way Accreditation Scheme

As part of its continuing commitment to excellence, Physio Med, the UK’s leading provider of Occupational Physiotherapy based in Leeds, has launched its very own quality standard - the Physio Med Way.

The accreditation scheme, which was unveiled at this year’s Health and Wellbeing @ Work exhibition, rewards the industry’s best practices for clinical excellence, reporting, facilities and customer service.

Current and future members of the Physio Med network, which currently consists of 780 handpicked practices, will be put through a further rigorous evaluation process to assess physiotherapist experience and specialist skills, the clinic’s environment and facilities, patient feedback, clinical notes and reporting procedures.

Once they have achieved Physio Med Way accreditation, practices will receive a raft of benefits including sole Physio Med provider status within a 30 minute drive, free PR provision and an on-going education programme.

Mark Fletcher, Clinical Director at Physio Med, said: “Great physiotherapy is at the heart of everything we do, so we only work with the very best, reliable and most talented Chartered Physiotherapists. The Physio Med Way is our way of rewarding their commitment to the profession, their patients and to us and also ensures that we include only the very best practices in our network.

Physio Med is one of the UK’s leading providers of physiotherapy solutions and works with businesses and organisations such as the John Lewis Partnership, Department of Work and Pensions, Waitrose and Arla Foods. By providing early intervention physiotherapy to employees Physio Med helps organisations to increase productivity, reduce sickness absence in the workplace, and cut associated costs.
