First Ark Group appoint Refresh PR
Manchester agency Refresh PR has secured a retained account with the First Ark Group, following a competitive pitch.
The win follows the agency’s appointment as PR agency for Vivark, one of the companies within the Group, earlier this year. It means the agency now handles PR for all of the companies within the First Ark Group, including the organisation’s corporate PR.
Comprising four companies, the First Ark Group includes Knowsley Housing Trust, a housing association that provides quality homes to over 25,000 people in Knowsley; Vivark, a social enterprise providing facilities management services to a range of clients across the North West; Oriel, the Group’s development brand, which builds homes for rent and sale with a range of innovative ways to buy; and One Ark, the Group’s charity arm which creates life changing opportunities for people in Knowsley.
First Ark’s business model aims to deliver social value and investment to the local communities within which it operates.
Sharon Steele, marketing and communications manager at the First Ark Group, said: “Following the fantastic start Refresh PR made on the Vivark campaign, we invited the team to pitch for the Group PR contract against a number of other agencies from across the North West.
“We were impressed by the team’s understanding of all of our different target audience groups and its recommended approach, and are confident they have the experience, creativity and passion to deliver the results we are looking for.”
Founder of Refresh PR, Laura Mashiter, said: “We are very proud to be expanding our work with the First Ark Group; we’ve had a great start to the year with the Vivark team and are looking forward to applying similar principles and utilising our knowledge of the sector to deliver the same level of high results across the organisation.”
