New Board member appointed to Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust
The NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA) has today confirmed the appointment of Sally Anne Watkiss as Non-Executive Director of Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust.
Sally has previously held a number of senior roles including at Premier Foods Group Plc which is the UK’s largest food manufacturer and RSA Insurance Group. Sally is also a Fellow of the Association of Certified Accountants and an Associate of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
On her appointment, Sally said: ‘I am delighted to be appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust and am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff who are working tirelessly to deliver high quality healthcare to patients across the communities they serve.’
‘The Trust continues to develop and improve services for patients and I am excited to be joining an organisation which is so committed to putting patients at the heart of everything it does.’
‘There are clearly still challenges ahead, however there is also an exciting future. I am confident that we will continue to improve the services we deliver to patients, in a way that builds confidence within our local communities.’
Frances Molloy, Chair of Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust said:
‘Sally has a wealth of experience that she can bring to our Trust. I am confident that LCH will benefit greatly from her experience and knowledge as we continue on our journey towards FT and in improving community patient services.’
Sally has been appointed from 1 May 2014 to 30 April 2016, and is entitled to receive a remuneration of £6,157 per annum for the role.
