Transactor supports new Direct Group live launch
Ryan Direct Group, one of the UK’s leading insurance services providers, announces the launch of a new web solution powered by Transactor Global Solutions Limited (TGSL).
The new solution consists of five full cycle B2C websites for brands owned by Direct Group’s affinity partner and the UK’s leading multi-brand digital retailer Shop Direct, including Very.co.uk, Littlewoods.com, isme.com, KandCo.com and Woolworths.co.uk. Built using Transactor Screenbuilder 5, the new responsive websites offer various self management options, allowing customers to view, cancel, and amend policies via a simple login. Thanks to integrations provided by TGSL, customers can choose from a variety of payment methods including their accounts with Very.co.uk or Littlewoods.com.
The new Transactor system will play a key role in the evolution of Direct Group’s operations following the firm’s recent move to a simpler business structure.
Ray Vincent, Executive Chairman, TGSL, said, “We are delighted to be the chosen technology partner of Direct Group and are confident that we can continue to provide class leading software solutions to match Direct Group’s ambition and proven track record for growth through innovation, acquisition and consolidation. We look forward to working with the company as it enters its next phase of growth.”
Colin Jones, Commercial Director, Direct Group, said, “The affinity sector is a significant opportunity for Direct Group, where technology enables us to reach customer segments that aren’t normally served by traditional insurers, or where customers prefer to buy their insurance from trusted brands like Shop Direct with whom they already have a strong relationship.”
