Diva recognised as a leading social marketing agency
Diva has been announced as a finalist in not one, but two categories at the annual AHCM Communicating Health Awards. These are the only awards that recognise and reward excellence in NHS communications, marketing and engagement.
Health for Kids, a project commissioned by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, has been nominated for Best Website. As well as exceeding the client’s expectations, the website, which uses games and videos to educate school age children about their school nurse services, has achieved widespread praise and approval within NHS practitioner groups, commissioners and most importantly from the kids themselves.
A second project, Our Street, commissioned by Wakefield and North Kirklees CCG, has been nominated for Best Visual Brand. Our Street, an interactive communications tool was designed to engage the public and help to explain the benefits of proposed changes to local health services across Wakefield and North Kirklees. Diva consulted the public and used the feedback to design characters that would resonate with local residents, launching them as part of the Our Street microsite in April this year.
Amanda Pearce, Director at diva said: “The whole team is thrilled to be recognised for excellence in social marketing on a national stage. Both projects also showcase our expertise in health promotion and our ability to create innovative ways to engage audiences, in this case, school age children.”
The awards, which are open to people working for, and in support of the NHS will be presented at a ceremony and dinner on Thursday 20th November 2014 at The Hilton Hotel in Leeds. According to the AHCM, the evening will be a celebration of the best of communications, engagement and marketing in the NHS.
