Carillion signs £75 million contract for Liverpool Football Club’s main stand
Carillion announces today that it has signed a contract to deliver the £75 million project for the club’s main stand.
The company had announced on the 2 July 2014 that it was selected as the preferred bidder to deliver the expansion of Liverpool FC s main stand and improvement works.
Work on the project, which will add around 8,500 seats to the Main Stand and increase the overall capacity of Anfield Stadium to some 54,000, is expected to start this week and is scheduled for completion in 2016.
Carillion is a leading integrated support services company with a substantial portfolio of projects and extensive construction capabilities.
The Group had annual revenue in 2013 of some £4.1 billion, employs around 40,000 people and operates across the UK, in the Middle East and Canada.
