Gateshead entrepreneur re-launches skin care brand with new packaging

Chris O’Grady, from Gateshead, Tyne and Wear has been working closely with North Tyneside business Elanders Ltd to re-launch his organic skincare products with an updated packaging design.

The rebrand sees a new design for the products within his Mount Purious Raw Skincare range.

Still in its infancy, Good Day Organics was set up in 2014 to create skincare products that bring together a selection of the world’s certified organic ingredients. Using these natural ingredients, O’Grady has created a unique range that has been proven to effectively treat acne, eczema, skin rashes, wrinkles and age spots.

Currently selling online and at trade and retail events, Chris decided to re-launch his products with new and updated packaging for the New Year. He commented:

“The packaging is so important for the success of the products and I needed it to sum up the brand’s identity and ethos in the most effective way – especially for customers buying online”.

“The original packaging looked great, but as the brand developed and I started to understand the UK market, I really found the right identity for the products”.

Chris was introduced to Elanders through one of their existing clients;

“I spoke to a few people who recommended that I contact Elanders because they provide an excellent service and I appreciate a company with eco credentials”.

Elanders Ltd were the perfect partners to help Chris with the creation of his packaging as they are committed to environmentally conscious practices and even won Green Manufacturer of the North East in 2013 thanks to their sustainable manufacturing processes.

Managing Director, Kevin Rogers added how important it is for the businesses like Elanders to help young entrepreneurs find their position in the market.

“Working with north east entrepreneurs is very exciting for us at Elanders because we are passionate about supporting innovation and business activity in the region”.

Chris echoed the preference of working with a local producer.

“I wanted to work with local people who care about local businesses and would ensure I was more than just an order number”.

Elanders’ approach is to act as a strategic partner for businesses of any size – helping them overcome whatever challenges they face through their core service areas; supply chain, print & packaging and e-commerce.

Kevin commented, “We have an expertise in printing because it has been our main business for decades. Our growth areas of supply chain, packaging and e-commerce will simply help to support our customers that much more by handling different aspects of their business, connected to print and distribution.

For this reason, we’re over the moon to be working with people like Chris, because when his business grows, we know that we will be able to keep helping him by scaling our services to meet his needs“.
