Bright Future For Entrepreneur In Cloud Services Enterprise
An entrepreneur from Derbyshire has launched one of the first businesses in in the county to specialise in migrating businesses’ current IT systems to the Microsoft Cloud.
Red Cloud IT, is the brainchild of Tim Rookes, the former Head of Infrastructure at PKF Cooper Parry, who started the business after he noticed a gap in the market for a new wave of IT firm, that focused on Cloud computing and managed IT rather than selling IT hardware.
Tim Rookes, who has also worked in IT for Essentra PLC and Dixons Retail PLC, said: “There has never been a better time to launch an IT business because the whole industry is changing as morebusinesses’ realise the benefits of using Cloud computing. The traditional model of selling expensive IThardware with big maintenance fee’s is being replaced by low cost monthly Cloud services that are always backed up and available from any device, anywhere”
Whether it’s for full Cloud, hybrid Cloud or private Cloud solutions, Red Cloud IT has full backing from Microsoft, and is intent on becoming the ‘go to’ Microsoft Cloud partner in the Midlands.
Mr Rookes, added: “We can design unique systems that are 100% Cloud based or a hybrid, wheresome services like email sit in the Cloud but file storage remains on your server and everything is still connected. This means we can design solutions for any size of business. I am very excited for the future of Red Cloud IT, and the sky really is the limit!”
