Wolfpack set to launch New Balance into football
Independent creative agency, Wolfpack, has announced that it will be the lead global creative agency for New Balance Football.
The agency has been working with New Balance for over a year developing the strategy but the brand’s launch into Football has only just been formally announced at a global press event in London on Wednesday night.
Wolfpack’s remit with the sportswear giant will include brand, footwear and apparel campaigns in Football featuring their sponsored athletes as well as campaigns supporting New Balance’s licensed agreements with Liverpool FC, Stoke City, FC Porto and Sevilla.
Previously, Wolfpack was the lead global creative agency for Warrior Football, a US sports brand owned by New Balance.
Joanna Davies, Managing Partner, Wolfpack, commented: “We’re really excited to finally announce this amazing partnership with New Balance. We pride ourselves on being a young, independent and highly creative agency and we believe the work we will do on New Balance will give the brand the fresh image it needs to stand out in a very crowded marketplace.”
Kenny McCallum, Global Brand Manager, New Balance Football, commented: “Our launch into the world’s greatest game is one of the most exciting moves for our business. In Wolfpack, we have an agency who clearly understands the game and the audience and we have been hugely impressed with both their strategy and execution across all of our planned channels as we embark on this new chapter.”
