The software solution is being used by healthcare providers of all sizes and types around the world, including more than 75% of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and leading healthcare providers in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
At Africa Health 2015, Datix is focused on meeting healthcare providers from across the region, primarily those with a responsibility for quality and safety. Working with partners in the Southern Africa Development Community is of particular interest to Datix. The company has successfully built, and continues to expand its business through regional partners and by working with those committed to improving quality and patient safety in healthcare.
Dan Taylor, Vice President Global Sales and Marketing at Datix, said: “Datix is dedicated to patient safety and improved risk management. Implementing Datix provides a platform for healthcare organisations to transform their approach to the management of incident reports, complaints and the whole patient experience. The data held within Datix supports culture change and a continued commitment to patient safety. This is our first visit to the Africa Health event and we are particularly keen to speak to potential IT implementation partners in the region. “
Available on the Datix stand will be books and compendiums written by the company’s International Medical Director Dr Dan Cohen, around educating the medical workforce on the importance of patient safety.
Africa Health 2015 will take place from 5 - 7 May at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg. Datix is on Stand 2H30.
