I-COM Launches Digital Marketing Guide for Recruiters
I-COM has published a comprehensive guide to digital marketing for recruiters, which launched at a sell-out event in partnership with LinkedIn last week (13th May).
The Manchester digital marketing agency specialises in recruitment and commissioned the free guide in response to demand from recruiters for a dedicated resource. The ebook, A Recruitment Agency’s Guide to Digital Marketing, explains how best to utilise methods such as content marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), PR and paid advertising.
It was launched at I-COM’s seminar for recruiters on how to use digital marketing techniques to attract passive candidates, which was fully booked and included a session from Nick Markwell, social media strategist at LinkedIn.
I-COM’s head of content, Graham Allchurch, also spoke at the event, which was hosted by HSBC in Spinningfields, Manchester. Graham specialises in recruitment and has presented at events including the APSCo Marketing Forum and an Outsauce/Recruitment Leaders roundtable chaired by Recruitment International.
Graham says: “The web is at the heart of today’s recruitment landscape, with active jobseekers using social media and dedicated websites to find new roles, while passive candidates are browsing the web for interesting content. That’s without mentioning the companies searching online for new recruitment partners. They are all primed and ready to engage with recruitment agencies and their content, yet my years of experience in digital marketing for this sector suggests recruiters are frequently missing opportunities to attract and engage candidates and clients.
“Our free guide offers a comprehensive overview of digital marketing and explains how the many different elements slot together. This is a valuable resource for all recruiters who want to ensure their digital marketing is as effective as possible.”
A Recruitment Agency’s Guide to Digital Marketing outlines digital marketing activities and details how each specialism can be used to boost brand awareness, offering practical tips on how to implement strategies from a beginner level to that of an experienced marketeer. It can be downloaded free of charge via: http://www.i-com.net/salt-on-everything/a-recruitment-agencys-guide-to-digital-marketing/.
