Chester firm Businesscomparison.com expands with new van insurance service
Businesscomparison.com, the Chester-based financial comparison website, has expanded its offering with the launch of a new business and van insurance service.
The firm, founded in April this year, has developed supplier partnerships with Autonet Insurance and Simply Business to provide its customers with a broader service.
Philip Brennan, the head of Businesscomparison.com, said: “The initial website launch was so well received that we looked deeper into the SME market and found other areas where businesses need support.”
“By widening our scope into the insurance market, we’re able to provide a one stop shop which SMEs can turn to for comparison services, advice and guidance, helping make their companies run as smoothly as possible.”
The chief customer officer at London-headquartered Simply Business, Fiona McSwein, said she considers sourcing the right business insurance to be a challenge faced by many small and medium-sized businesses across the UK.
She added: “We believe in supporting the process and making it as simple as possible for companies. Partnering with Businesscomparison.com was a natural decision for us.”
Similarly, Autonet Insurance MD Ian Donaldson said finding the best insurance for a business van can be ‘time consuming’.
He continued: “We’re pleased to be working with Businesscomparison.com to help make this selection process as easy as possible for customers.”
