Italian ‘fast food’ brand launches in London
GODO, an Italian ‘fast food’ brand, has launched in the City, Mayfair and Canary Wharf this month.
Brainchild of entrepreneurs Amin Bouafsoun and Simone Sajeva, GODO aims to offer ‘authentic, passionate flavours’ of Italy at a competitive price, through a simple two-step app process. Both Amin and Simone have backgrounds in, and extensive knowledge of, setting up and maintaining businesses.
Michelin star chef, Tommaso Arrigoni, has also joined the pair on the venture.
Orders will be delivered by Italian ‘brand ambassadors’ driving a customised Fiat 500 or Vespa supplied by Piaggio, wearing bespoke Italian fashion from brands Dainese and Conte of Florence.
GODO’s thermic food container has been meticulously designed over the course of fifteen months in order to produce a vessel that maintains a constant temperature during transportation.
GODO shares suppliers with London’s most exclusive Michelin Star restaurants, including: Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons, L’Atelier Joel Robuchon and The River Cafe.
With fifteen full-time employees, GODO launches with estimate turnover projections of £4m after year one. The Michelin-star quality Italian food brand also strives for 1,000 orders to be placed daily, and an aggressive business growth with a target revenue of £20m per year. Sights are set much further than the City and Mayfair.
