Northumberland firm Luggage-Point opens Manchester store
Airport services firm Luggage-Point has launched a new operation at Manchester Airport.
The Northumberland-headquartered company will now provide those travelling through Manchester Airport with various luggage services at each terminal.
Luggage-Point’s commercial development director, Carole Stewart, said: “Luggage-point is extremely proud to be expanding our company into Manchester Airport.
“Our friendly team are looking forward to providing the best in class service to passengers, helping to make their time in the airport stress free and enjoyable.”
The business’ offering includes lost property, protective bag wrapping and long-term storage. Luggage-Point also provides a mail-it-on service, which allows passengers whose items are confiscated by security to mail their items to themselves for retrieval after the flight.
Manchester Airport’s director of security and customer service, Collette Roche, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Luggage-Point to Manchester Airport today. We are committed to offering our 23m passengers a wide range of quality services and Luggage-Point fits into that category.
“By offering a one-stop-shop for passengers luggage needs, it will make the journey as stress-free as possible for them.”
Established in 2012 as the service and retail division of Weigh-Ahead, a provider of pre-check in luggage-weighing systems, Luggage-Point currently operates across three UK airports.
