New Kromek Chairman buys 30,000 shares in company
Newly incumbent Chairman of radiation detection technology company Kromek, Sir Peter Williams has further strengthened his affiliation with the company, supporting his position with a substantial share purchase.
The former Chief of Oxford Instruments plc has purchased 30,000 ordinary shares in the Durham-based business, at a cost of 34.5 pence each, representing 0.02% of the entire current issued share capital of the company.
The purchase follows Sir Peter’s announcement of a board restructure at Kromek, revealed last week in tandem with the firm releasing its interim results for the six months ended 31 October 2015.
Speaking last week, Sir Peter said: “Kromek is entering a new chapter in its development and the Board changes reflect this. We thank Max Robinson and Brian Tanner for their 12 years of support and look forward to their continuing guidance as members of our Science Advisory Committee.
“The Board would also like to thank Charlotta Ginman and Peter Baines for the wise counsel and sage guidance they have provided and we offer them our best wishes for the future.”
