Latest Liverpool FC deal to strengthen club’s global brand
Liverpool FC have signed a new deal to make Thai drink brand Chaokoh their official coconut water partner.
The agreement, which will see Chaokoh products promoted to fans through a number of digital channels, marks the Reds’ first global deal with a Thailand-based company, according to Soccerex.
As part of the agreement, a new series of Chaokoh products featuring LFC players will be launched in the coming weeks.
The company’s drinks are currently sold in more than 40 countries, including China, the US and Australia.
The move follows similar steps taken by Manchester City last year to engage fans in Southeast Asia. In September, the club teamed up with drinks giant Singha to bolster its brand presence across Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia.
